I dropped her off to the bike shop in the Vally. Dude there is gonna help me rebuild her. We'll see what happens... I got the original bars that were used on the bike back in the 80's. Cinelli's LA84s. They are huge. I'm not sure how they are gonna feel but I'm giving a shot. I had to get these shipped from the Netherlands. New old stock. Lucy the <a href="http://www.guerciotti.it/">Guerciotti</a> is the newest edition to my bike family. She was acquired from LA's craiglist. Named after a fallen street street cat I was fond of, this Italian time trial road bike is truly a legit gem. The previous owner had her built up as a half ass fixed gear with a 2 foot stem... (hideous).<br /><br />I'm trying to rebuild her gears, breaks, and all. I only know about fixed gear bikes though so this is turning out to be a pain in the ass... I came in 5th and my friend from UCLA Steel Horse crew came in 4th. One of the check points was on the roof of a 15 story building... I haven't heard about any upcoming races but I hope to do more soon...<br /><br />This was my 7th Allycat race. I've done them in SF, Tokyo, and LA. There seem to be a bunch of rides out here but few races. Not feeling that.
